Carie Metzgar, LMSW
I provide individual and couples therapy via a telehealth platform.
We all come with different stories and backgrounds. That is what makes us unique as individuals. My aim is to work with adult clients who struggle with everyday life hurdles such as communicating effectively with others about their feelings or coping with unexpected changes such as loss of a job or a loved one.
For some, simply talking with a neutral party can help us recognize what is needed in order to move forward in life. For others, it might be necessary to set up personalized strategies to tackle those hard-to-reach goals.
When it comes to making decisions (big or small) that can be emotionally challenging, I can provide resources to support you in the process.
Since 2005, my entire career has revolved around human services and social work. My experience includes working in the nonprofit sector with children and adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and working for the local Department of Social Services with vulnerable adults who have endured exploitation, abuse, and neglect.
